Description

Initiated by Xavier Vignon in 2022, l’Esprit Français is a range of collaborative wines between winemakers, created to sublimate the combination of French know-how and the magnificence of its terroirs. In 2023, the project extends to the mythical terroirs of Provence in collaboration with the Maîtres Vignerons of the Saint-Tropez peninsula. A selection of more than 500 parcels makes up this wine. The result of a long work in the vineyard and a tailor-made blend, L’Esprit Français is the reflection of an initiatory journey to the heart of Provence. The terroirs of the golden triangle (between Cuers, Puget Ville and Pierrefeu) represent a significant part of this wine, bringing density and structure. But also, we find the aromatic and iodized note of the fine sands of the seaside terroir.

Tasting Notes

The nose developes intense citrus aromas. Intense and ample on the palate with a fresh finish on iodine notes.
Pairing

Carpaccio of sea bream with lime, prawns marinated in coriander, vegetables sticks with yoghurt sauce, Mixed salad
Cellaring

The plots are checked once a week to ensure that they are picked at perfect ripeness. After a selection of parcels, the harvest is carried out exclusively at night between 4 and 6 am to preserve the aromatic potential of the grapes.
