Description

Each cuvée under the Arcane series is the sole expression of a vintage, a grape or a terroir. These cuvées are only released once, then disappear, and are replaced by new arcanes originating from different blends and terroirs. For the blend of As de Deniers, the emphasis was on the expression of very old vines.

Tasting Notes

The nose develops aromas of plum, jammy strawberry, black cherry and peony. The palate is well-balanced and greedy with a fresh finish.
Pairing

Niçois vegetable gratin. Rosemary pizza. Ratatouille and basil. Artichokes stuffed with parmesan. Duck curry with pumpkin.
Cellaring

Grenache and Cinsault were fermented separately for 4 weeks. This was followed by a maceration for a month and some extraction. Vinification took place in stainless steel vats, followed by 12 months' ageing in concrete vats.
